What are the guidelines for printing of the recyclable and recycled logos?

The recycled/recyclable symbol is not copyrighted by anyone, and has traditionally been three chasing arrows, but many variations are used--both in the United States and internationally.

The Federal Trade Commission monitors the use of the terms, "recycled" and "recyclable" as well as the application and use of the recycling symbol in advertising and other claims. You can find their environmental marketing guide at: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/grnrule/green02.htm. Exit EPA
